Delicious! Loved the Santa Fe tamale pie.

Don't expect speedy service like most Americanized Mexican joints. This is the real deal, with everything made fresh daily and/or to order by one dude in a cowboy hat. Get the chips and salsas, they do not disappoint.

Food was amazing and must say this is the best place in the Lakewood area if not Cleveland area to get the best and most authentic Mexican experience with the most amazing food!

Best Margaritas wowww. First time going.

We had a party of 8 turned away on Thursday after the owner came up to us to ask to try and squeeze all of us at a table that barely could fit 6 comfortably so he can have seating for more people that were coming. He said he cannot handle a big party even though we called earlier in the week to give him a heads up. Nice of him to turn away paying customers. We spent our hard earned money acrossed the street at the distillery and had a wonderful evening out with friends. Will never step foot in this place again.

Absolutely phenomenal fresh tasty food! The beef tacos and mushroom quesadillas are especially amazing!! Great selection of salsas. Probably the best Latin/Mexican food I have ever had!

Literally the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. My husband and I have been coming here for years, and just had a date here last night. The cactus pear margarita is not to be missed, the tomatillo salsa is delectable and I even asked if I could purchase some to take home with us. Pro tip, call a day in advance and pre-order some salsa to take home when you come in for a meal. Everything is made to order and fresh, our fish tacos tasted like they had been caught that day, and the chicken piña taco is perfection. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, there is no wait staff as the owner prepares everything and serves guests himself. The food is entirely worth the wait, and the ambience and experience are what make this place such a hidden gem. Order at the counter, grab a table, and enjoy.

EL Tango is one of my favorite places to eat in Lakewood! The menu has all the staples you would want and they all taste great. The place has a really cool style featuring latin music, colorful decor, and real paintings. The chef, Antonio, is really personable and fun too. I eat there frequently enough often hear guests compliment the chef and the food on their way out.

Incredible restaurant operated by a visionary chef. I literally scoff at anyone that doesn't see the superior nature of what is going on here. If you don't give this a 5 star review you probably feel like Taco Bell or Burger King are society's peak achievements. Welcome to flavor country without the cigarettes.

Great food, but a one man show. One guy runs the whole restaurant, so don't be in a hurry to get in and out.

Owner was rude. Called ahead days in advance to set up a time to bring friends there. Confirmed time with owner. When we got there told he had other customers coming and wouldn't be able to serve us. Wanted to take care of his regulars first. For the first time in my life I was without words. We left and went across the street to distill. Our money spends anywhere, your loss. Will never recommend or go back.

The owner is an amazing chef everything tastes so good I highly recommend!
